#332 Hale hoop!

2009.11.27
I think I've seen a worm over here...

Where has it gone?

I will look for it in the other side...
Hale hoop!

[Sitta europaea - Wood Nuthatch. La Herrería Forest, El Escorial - Madrid]

Thanks to all that already have sent their mandalas the to my mail box. All them are wonderful works!
For those that are still thinking about it, remember that you have only a few days.
:)

Though I've already explained this in Sandra's post, I would like to clarify a simple rule:
Our Sunday Gallery is a way of sharing our more artistic side in the field of the drawing and the painting.

So, please keep in mind that a mandala is a drawing.
You can use any materials: oils, pencils, crayolas, felt-tip pens. Or you can draw it in the sand and colour it with stones, leaves, etc. Or you can make it like Buddhists do: with coloured sand in the ground.

And don't take offense if I tell you that a kaleidoscope image made with your computer... technically is not a mandala, because the composition is made by the program. This is not a drawing for the Sunday Gallery, right?

If you want to make a kaleidoscope image and send it to me I can compile them all and make a post with them. It's a nice idea too.
