Today was a blast!
I was late to my rehearsal.. only by 30mins.. because I was sleeping.. but yeah I had a 4hr dancing rehearsal for anything goes and guess what... I AM FINALLY IN THE SHOW! we got past page 20! oh yes!
and then Naomi and I went to see Little Shop of Horrors at Bass Hall! It was amazing! and in intermission zombies were walking the halls which was wierd until they performed thriller before the second half to honor micheal jackson! haha it was cool! and of course the show was just amazing!
I love that show so much! I have so many memories with the cast and just that plant. Something about seeing a show that means so much to you, its a feeling like no other. We were in the front row too! That was ridiculously cool! Amazing! I was pleased! I had high expectations for the seymour and plant and they both were great!
I love the lyrics to somewhere that's green! they are so true! they are what I want too... a perfect little house with the pickit (spelling?) fince and everything... and of course I want my perfect guy! who has to be a little bit of a nerd! haha
Somewhere that's green:
A matchbox of our own
A fence of real chain link,
A grill out on the patio
Disposal in the sink
A washer and a dryer and an ironing machine
In a tract house that we share
Somewhere that's green.
He rakes and trims the grass
He loves to mow and weed
I cook like Betty Crocker
And I look like Donna Reed
There's plastic on the furniture
To keep it neat and clean
In the Pine-Sol scented air
Somewhere that's green
Between our frozen dinner
And our bedtime, nine-fifteen
We snuggle watchin' Lucy
On our big, enormous twelve-inch screen
I'm his December Bride
He's Father, he Knows Best
Our kids watch Howdy Doody
As the sun sets in the west
A picture out of Better Homes and Gardens magazine
Far from Skid Row
I dream we'll go
somewhere that's green.
