This UGLY bat was clinging to one of the trees...and I did not know if it was dead or alive, sleeping or awake, sick or healthy, or why it was still exposed to humans like it was... I just summoned all my courage and approached the thing uncomfortably close to snatch this shot, then retreated really quickly...before it became aware of my presence...It never did...Shall I go back to see if it was still there?
Maybe not, why push my luck?
